Another new technique I've recently discovered (thanks Boss) is to ink and/or brayer an Embossing Folder before embossing.  It makes a stunning background.

Embossing Folder -  Petals-a-Plenty

Punch Art & Die Cut Christmas Card

Traditional Christmas colors will always be one of my favorite color combinations, but using different techniques, papers, punches etc. can add a fresh and new look.  I've used three different Punches and a Bigz Die to create this Card and I'm very happy with the result.

Stamped and Embossed Christmas Card

Creating Christmas Cards in September seems a little weird to me, but since starting Stampin' Up!, so many people have asked to learn about how to make attractive and personalized Christmas Cards, I've started getting in the Christmas Spirit.  To create this Card I used two of the 'Brights' colors, embossed a background and stamped an image.  Quite simple to create, but very effective.

Stamps - Snow Swirled, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Inks - Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry
Punches - Modern Label, Word Window
Embossing Folder - Petals-a-Plenty

Sponge Art Thank You Card

Discovering 'sponging' has added a new dimension to my craft projects.  I have created the background on this card using two different colors and this sponging technique.  I've also used heat embossing for the tree and altogether the impact can be quite stunning.

Stamps - Lovely as a Tree, Three Little Words
Inks - Pacific Point, Old Olive, Wild Wasabi, Shimmer Paint Champagne Mist, Early Espresso, Sahara Sand

Fussy Cut and Embossed Birthday Card
